San Juan del Molinillo
Village
San Juan del Molinillo is a municipality in the province of Ávila, with around 238 inhabitants spread across the settlements of Molinillo, Villarejo and Navandrinal, close to the Alberche river. In the Bishop's Census of 1587 it appeared as an annexe of Navalmoral, with a baptismal font and 28 residents, to which were added those of Villarejo, Navandrinal and the now-vanished Espinarejo, up to 297 residents in all; in the mid-19th century the place, still a district of Navalmoral, had 30 houses. Its economy still rests on agriculture, cattle and sheep farming and a small wine production, although in recent years construction has also grown. It preserves the parish church of San Juan del Molinillo.

Curiosity
The census of 1587 divided the district among several settlements that added up to close to 297 households; in the middle of the 19th century Madoz already described it as a quarter of some thirty houses dependent on Navalmoral, with its own town hall afterwards.
