Sant Climent de Llobregat
Village
Sant Climent de Llobregat is a small municipality in the Baix Llobregat, in the metropolitan area of Barcelona, located between Sant Boi de Llobregat and Viladecans, in the valley of the Les Comes, Querol and Salom streams, surrounded by the mountains of Montbaig and Pedres Blanques. It has 4,187 inhabitants. It is an ancient village, already documented in the year 970; it preserves a 10th-century church which, despite alterations, retains the only Romanesque bell tower in the district, and the Eines del Pagès museum, devoted to traditional farming tools. Its most notable activity is cherry growing, celebrated every first weekend of June at the Festa de les Cireres.
