Blacos
Village
Blacos is a hamlet in the province of Soria, in the comarca of Tierras del Burgo, 37 kilometres from the provincial capital, with 36 inhabitants. It sits at 1000 metres of altitude, in the valleys of the Abión river and the Milanos river, also crossed by the Muriel Viejo; part of its municipal area, with juniper groves of the sierra de Cabrejas, is protected within the Natura 2000 network. In the 1787 census, ordered by the Count of Floridablanca, it was part of the district of Calatañazor and lived under the lordship of the Duke of Medinaceli, with 259 inhabitants, seven times today's population. In 1932 it moved from the judicial district of Almazán to that of El Burgo de Osma.
