What to see and do in Torreblacos

Torreblacos
Village
Torreblacos is a hamlet in the province of Soria, in the Tierras del Burgo district, 38 kilometres from the capital, in the valley formed by the rivers Milanos and Abión before the hills and mountains that rise towards the north; part of its territory is protected within the Natura 2000 network for the savin groves of the sierra de Cabrejas. It now has 28 inhabitants, compared with the 167 it had in 1787, when it was called La Torre de Blacos and was a place of the partido of Calatañazor under the lordship of the Duke of Medinaceli, with a pedáneo mayor appointed by him; by the mid-19th century it had 48 houses. It preserves the church dedicated to the Conversión de San Pablo.
