What to see and do in Los Villares de Soria

Los Villares de Soria
Village
Los Villares de Soria is a municipality in the comarca of Almarza, in the province of Soria, which includes the hamlets of Pinilla de Caradueña and La Rubia, incorporated in the mid-19th century. In the 1528 Pecheros census it appeared simply as Los Villares, within the Sexmo de San Juan de la tierra soriana, and it was also called Los Villares de Almajano because the servants of the mesta nobles who lived in Almajano resided there. Until the 1916 reform of municipal names it kept the name Los Villares, when it became Los Villares de Soria. Today it has 72 inhabitants.
