Villagalijo is a municipality in the Montes de Oca district, in the province of Burgos, within the judicial district of Briviesca, with an area of 22 km². It has 52 inhabitants and brings together, besides the town of the same name, the villages of Santa Olalla del Valle and Ezquerra, in the former Valle de San Vicente. Constituted as a municipality after the fall of the Ancien Régime, it then had 78 inhabitants, a figure that held steady until the mid-19th century.
