The village celebrates its festivities in honour of the Virgen de los Dolores, on the weekend nearest 20 August, of Santa Lucía on 13 December, and a pilgrimage to the hermitage of the Virgen de Herrera on the first Saturday of May. In the mid-19th century it had 188 inhabitants; today it has 36 (INE 2025).
Church of Nogueras
Monument
The parish church of Nogueras, dedicated to San Juan Evangelista, is a 17th-century Baroque building that follows the model of the church of Santa Cruz in Zaragoza, though with less decorative richness; it preserves a 16th-century parish cross and altarpieces from the Zaragoza church of San Juan de los Panetes, dismantled during the Civil War.
