What to see and do in Tella-Sin

Tella-Sin
Village
Tella-Sin is a mountain municipality in Sobrarbe, in the province of Huesca, with views over the valle de Pineta and megalithic remains, and 208 inhabitants. It groups together the hamlets of Tella, Lamiana, Sin, Lafortunada, Revilla and Salinas de Sin, among others, and part of its territory lies within the parque nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido, in the Gargantas de Escuaín. It was formed in the 1960s from the merger of Tella and Sin-Salinas, with its capital at Lafortunada, the most populated hamlet thanks to its hydroelectric power station. The 1920s, with the power station, were its most prosperous years, with nearly a thousand inhabitants; the opening of the road to France through the túnel de Bielsa-Aragnouet, between 1973 and 1980, coincided with the rural depopulation that has since reduced its population.
