Campins
Village
Campins is a small mountain municipality in the Vallès Oriental comarca, in the province of Barcelona, located in the sub-comarca of Baix Montseny, within the Montseny Natural Park. The writer Frederic Soler i Hubert, known as Serafí Pitarra, lived from 1886 at the farmhouse of Can Cullell, where he wrote part of his work; the estate has since been known as Can Pitarra and preserves some of his memorabilia. Its coat of arms, with three pine trees, is a punning reference to the village's name. Campins has 586 inhabitants.
