Rellinars
Village
Rellinars is a rural municipality in the comarca of Vallès Occidental, in the province of Barcelona, situated 47 kilometres from the capital, with much of its territory within the Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac natural park. Its setting of quiet landscapes has made it a place of second homes and summer holidays. It has 926 inhabitants and is connected to Terrassa and Castellbell i el Vilar by a local road. Among its heritage it preserves the pre-Romanesque church of Saint Peter and Saint Fermin, the village's patron saint, whose keys appear on the municipal coat of arms, as well as remains from Roman times. The local festival is celebrated on the last Saturday of July. Rellinars is the birthplace of trial rider Jordi Tarrés.
