Navalilla
Village
Navalilla is a village of about 90 inhabitants and a little over twenty square kilometers near the Duratón river, in the north of the province of Segovia. It was repopulated during the Reconquista by the Comunidad de Villa y Tierra de Sepúlveda, within the Ochavo de las Pedrizas y Valdenavares, to which it belonged for centuries; in the mid-19th century it had 245 inhabitants, more than double today's number. The municipality approved its official coat of arms and flag on 29 March 2003, and the village has a church under the patronage of San Sebastián.
