Cedillo de la Torre
Village
Cedillo de la Torre is a village in the province of Segovia, on the foothills of the sierra de Pradales, with 80 inhabitants (INE 2025) across 23.74 km² of low scrubland of holm oak and juniper. It belonged to the Community of Town and Land of Maderuelo, and in the mid-19th century had 243 inhabitants, engaged as today in farming and livestock raising. It takes its name and skyline from its church tower, square in plan and about twenty-five metres high, built of limestone ashlar and attached to the parish church. Its patronal feasts, in honour of the Assumption and San Roque, are celebrated on 15 and 16 August.
