What to see and do in Pastores

Pastores
Village
Pastores is a hamlet in the province of Salamanca, in the comarca of Ciudad Rodrigo and the Campo de Robledo sub-comarca, with barely 52 inhabitants and an area of 12.69 km², one of the smallest districts in the province; it also includes the deserted hamlet of Cuadrados. It arose from the resettlement carried out by the kings of León in the Middle Ages, being placed within the Campo de Robledo of the diocese of Ciudad Rodrigo after its creation by Ferdinand II of León in the 12th century; with the provincial reorganisation of 1833 it became part of the province of Salamanca, within the Leonese Region. Its church is dedicated to San Pedro de Alcántara.
