Galbarros
Village
Galbarros is a municipality in the comarca of La Bureba, in the province of Burgos, situated on the watershed between the Atlantic basin, drained by the San Pedro stream, and the Mediterranean basin, by the Diablo stream. Its municipal area brings together four minor local entities: Ahedo de Bureba, Caborredondo, Galbarros, the capital, and San Pedro de la Hoz. It was a crown town in the cuadrilla of Prádano, within the Merindad de Bureba, and after the fall of the Old Regime was constituted as the constitutional town council of the Briviesca district, when it had 35 inhabitants. Its church, dedicated to the Natividad de Nuestra Señora, depends on the parish of Buezo, in the Archpriestship of Oca-Tirón, diocese of Burgos. Today it has 28 inhabitants.
