What to see and do in Pradell de la Teixeta

Pradell de la Teixeta
Village
Pradell de la Teixeta is a small municipality in the comarca of the Priorat, at the eastern end of the southern half of the comarca, bordering the Baix Camp. Its name describes the place: a pradell, or small meadow, near the Coll de la Teixeta, a place name that refers to a forest of yews (teixos), central European trees that grow here thanks to the altitude of the place. The territory extends over an inclined plain that culminates in the east at the Serra de Pradell, the natural watershed between the Priorat and the Baix Camp, and descends westward towards Falset.
