Muñoveros
Village
A village in the Community of City and Land of Segovia, situated at 959 m above sea level, through which the Camino de San Frutos passes; it has about 138 inhabitants, and in its municipal area the former deserted villages of San Bartolomé, San Sebastián, Los San Pedros and Las Casillas have disappeared. It belonged to the Sexmo de Posaderas of the Community of City and Land of Segovia, of which remains of the old irrigation channels survive, today also recalled by a sculpture in the village. Legend places the tomb of the comunero Juan Bravo and that of his wife in its church of San Félix Mártir. It celebrates San Félix on 1 August and the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on 14 September.
