What to see and do in Bustillo de la Vega

Bustillo de la Vega
Village
Bustillo de la Vega is a municipality in Palencia with about 260 inhabitants over 18.99 square kilometres, at 869 metres above sea level, with the hamlet of Lagunilla de la Vega. In the 19th century it had barely 26 poorly built houses, according to Madoz, on land of middling quality irrigated by the lower course of the Saldaña. Between the censuses of 1857 and 1877 it disappeared as a municipality, becoming part of Moslares de la Vega, before separating again and regaining its own town council. Its parish church is dedicated to San Pedro.
