Salmeroncillos
Village
A municipality in the district of La Alcarria Conquense, in the province of Cuenca, 78 km from the provincial capital and nearly 150 from Madrid, bordering the province of Guadalajara to the north. Made up of two settlements, Salmeroncillos de Abajo, which is the capital, and Salmeroncillos de Arriba, with little more than a hundred inhabitants between the two, it is a rural municipality profoundly shaped by agriculture that nonetheless preserves a rich environmental heritage.
