Curiosity
The municipal coat of arms of Valdeaveruelo, approved on 3 October 1989 and published in the Diario Oficial de Castilla-La Mancha on the 17th of that month, is party per pale: in the first quarter, azure, it bears three gold fleurs-de-lis well ordered; in the second, the castle and the lion that appear in the armorial of the ducal house of Medinaceli, recalling that the village belonged in the past to that lordship. The whole is crowned with a closed royal crown.
