What to see and do in Lobera de Onsella

Lobera de Onsella
Village
Lobera de Onsella is a municipality of the Cinco Villas, in Zaragoza, situated on a promontory on the left side of the Valdonsella, through which the Onsella river runs from east to west, giving the valley its name; its traditional name was only Lobera until 1920, when the reference to the river was added. In its territory, worked flint remains have been found, possibly from the late Neolithic or the Bronze Age, divided between the Labayen Galván Collection and the museum of Pamplona. Before the Romans, the area was occupied by the Celtic tribe of the Suessetani, at odds with their Iacetani and Vascones neighbours until their defeat in 184 BC. It is a border village with the localities where Aragonese is still preserved, such as neighbouring Longás. It has 28 inhabitants.
