Rezmondo
Village
Rezmondo is a hamlet of 18 inhabitants in the Odra-Pisuerga district, situated on the left bank of the Pisuerga, east of Castrillo, in the judicial district of Burgos. It is documented from the year 969, on the occasion of the refounding of its monastery by Count Fernán González, and under the Old Regime it was an abbey lordship, under the jurisdiction of the Benedictine monastery of San Pedro de Cardeña and governed by an ordinary mayor; it then had 22 households and 74 residents. It is today a crossroads of the local roads BU-V-6113 and BU-V-6204.
