Pardos
Village
Pardos is a small municipality of the Señorío de Molina, in the province of Guadalajara, set on the high plateau of the Alto Tajo, with barely 33 inhabitants. In the 19th century its territory was documented as having 'good woods of holm oak, oak, junipers and other scrub', a landscape that still surrounds the village today, close to the towns of Torrubia, Tartanedo, Canales and Herrería. Towards the middle of that century it came to have 442 inhabitants, far above the present number. Village life revolves around the fountain square, the pelota court and the church dedicated to Santo Domingo.
