What to see and do in Trijueque

Trijueque
Village
Municipality of the La Alcarria comarca, in the province of Guadalajara, occupied by the Italian CTV troops on the 11th of March 1937 and abandoned on the night of the 13th before the Republican advance during the Battle of Guadalajara, which destroyed much of the village. It preserves the town hall built in 1560 and rebuilt after the war, the church of la Asunción de Nuestra Señora with Plateresque elements, and the 18th-century royal coach inn; its patron saint, San Bernabé, is celebrated on the 11th of June.
