Casas de Haro is a municipality in La Mancha Conquense, at the southern edge of the province of Cuenca, near the border with Albacete, with very flat terrain at 727 m above sea level. Its name comes from Diego López de Haro, chief standard-bearer of Alfonso VIII, rewarded with the territory after the Battle of Las Navas de Tolosa (1212); documented since 1318, the municipality was constituted as such in 1834. It has 812 inhabitants (INE 2025).
