What to see and do in Torrecuadrada de Molina

Torrecuadrada de Molina
Village
Torrecuadrada de Molina is a municipality of the former Señorío de Molina, in the province of Guadalajara, located on the boundary between the paramera, to the north, and the sierra, to the south, which is why it combines cereal fields with woodland of holm oak, Portuguese oak, juniper and savin juniper. It has 20 inhabitants, compared with the 172 it had in the mid-19th century. Made up of the settlements of Torrecuadrada de Molina and Otilla, it preserves the church of the Purísima Concepción, the hermitage of la Soledad, built in 1985, a battlemented tower and the so-called Casa del Señorazgo or Casa de la Moneda; of the square tower that presumably gives the municipality its name, however, no trace remains.
