Sediles
Village
Sediles is a small municipality in the Comunidad de Calatayud, in Zaragoza, situated at about 740 metres of altitude at the foot of the sierra de Vicor, where, as the Madoz dictionary described it, all the winds beat down on it. Its territory, a little under twelve square kilometres, then numbered 46 houses, including those of the town hall and the jail. The parish church is dedicated to the Exaltación de la Cruz, and outside the village stands a hermitage dedicated to Nuestra Señora del Villar. Its residents are known as sedilanos.
