Muralla medieval de Antoñana Monument · Campezo/Kanpezu, Cuadrilla de Campezo-Montaña Alavesa, Álava Antoñana, a district of the municipality of Campezo, was founded and walled in 1182 by the Navarrese king Sancho VI the Wise. Its wall, between 5 and 12 meters high, was over time incorporated into the houses, which lean against it and are pierced with windows and balconies over the wall itself. The settlement preserves its medieval layout of three main streets almost intact. Photo: Zarateman (CC0) What to see and do in Campezo/Kanpezu
