The Holy Week of Paradela is an annual Catholic celebration of the parish of Paradela, in the municipality of Meis, declared of Galician tourist interest. Throughout the week, residents of the municipality act out, with the active support of the attending public, the different moments of the Passion of Christ, from the entry into Jerusalem to the Resurrection; the Crucifixion is staged after a Way of the Cross that climbs to Monte da Croa. Processions and re-enactments fill the corredoiras of this inland Salnés valley all week long. Photo: José Antonio Gil Martínez from Vigo, Spain (CC BY 2.0) What to see and do in Meis
