The Pena de Francia, at 914 metres, is the highest summit of the municipality of Dozón, in whose surroundings the Asneiro river rises, also called the Dozón, the headwater of the Deza. Together with other nearby elevations it forms the watershed between the Miño and Ulla basins. Nearby stands a chapel dedicated to the Virxe da Pena de Francia, one of the municipality's ermitas.
