Monastery of San Pedro de Ramirás

Nunnery founded in the tenth century by Omnéga, an abbess coming from Santa Comba de Bande, which figured as a Benedictine convent in 1137 and depended for centuries on the orbit of the monastery of Celanova. Its church was begun in Romanesque and completed in Gothic, a mixture visible in the arches and vaults of the temple.
