Church of Santa María de Castrelo

Monument · Castrelo de Miño, Ribeiro, Ourense

It preserves part of the Romanesque tower and a semicircular twelfth-century apse with reliefs and a triumphal arch of the same date, integrated into a Baroque rebuilding dated 1763. It was the church of an old monastery that came to be governed by the abbess Dona Goto and it is the principal monument of the concello.
