The church of San Xoán de Ourantes

Temple of Romanesque origin of the twelfth century looking out over the Miño valley, remodelled in the Early Modern period, which holds inside a Churrigueresque altarpiece: a usual contrast in the parishes of the Barbantiño, where the Baroque settled over medieval fabrics without erasing them. It is one of the six parish churches that mark out the small concello of Punxín.
