Height of some 800 metres in the Serra do Testeiro that separates the lands of O Irixo from those of Terra de Montes and dominates a municipality furrowed by three rivers, the Viñao, the Pedriña and the Lobagueira. Through its saddle runs the historic pass between the basins of the Deza and the Arenteiro, and across its slopes are scattered the hamlets of one of the most aged concellos in Galicia.
