The church of San Salvador de Mourisco gives its name to the place of Saa, in the parish of the same name in the concello of Paderne de Allariz, where, besides the church, a peto de ánimas (wayside shrine) is also preserved. It is a Baroque church with a single nave, a timber roof and granite columns, housing a 17th-century altarpiece; it gives its name to one of the ten parishes of this concello, whose administrative capital is the settlement of Rioseco.
