Church of San Fiz de Rubián Monument · Bóveda, Terra de Lemos, Lugo The parish of San Fiz de Rubián has been linked to the monastery of Samos since a 1175 bull of Pope Alexander III, by which the monks continued to enjoy their jurisdictional rights over the place. Its parish church, originally built in the 16th century and much altered since, has a rectangular plan, with the chancel separated from the nave by a round arch and the sacristy attached to its north side; the same parish also preserves the chapel of the Ecce Homo, next to which traces of ancient graves can still be made out. At the place of Eimer also stands the Casa Torre de Eimer, with its own chapel and a marble coat of arms on its east façade, and at O Gruñedo, the Casa Torre of the same name.
