Bridge of Sigüeiro Monument · Oroso, Ordes, A Coruña The Sigüeiro bridge is a stone-masonry structure over the Tambre river that links the concellos of Santiago de Compostela and Oroso, on the N-550 road between A Coruña and Santiago. It was built in the 14th century by order of Fernán Pérez de Andrade, O Boo, and was modified in the 15th century. Nearby, in 1846, the clash took place between troops of the Spanish government and the insurgents led by Colonel Miguel Solís, which ended in the defeat of the latter and their execution by firing squad in Carral. Through this bridge the pilgrims of the Camino Inglés who come down from Ferrol and A Coruña toward Compostela enter Oroso. Photo: JonnyJonny (Public domain) What to see and do in Oroso
