Monument · Moeche, Ferrol, A Coruña

Fifteenth-century fortress linked to the Andrade family, of irregular polygonal enclosure and with a keep of square plan and eighteen metres in height; it was demolished by the Irmandiños in 1431 during the revolt against Nuno Freire de Andrade, o Mao, and remade in the sixteenth century. It is the symbol of the concello and the setting of its great festival.
