Beach open to the Atlantic and backed by a dune system, one of the six in the concello to fly the blue flag and the most frequented; it forms part of the Camiño Azul that links the beaches along the Arteixo coast. It is a straight stretch of sand with strong swell, suitable for surfing, located between the Sisalde river and the punta do Trei; the line of dunes behind it forms a small marsh after the river mouth. It has received the blue flag in various years, among them 2013 to 2018 and 2022.
