Church of San Cristovo de Muniferral Monument · Aranga, Betanzos, A Coruña Twelfth-century Romanesque church in the parish of Muniferral, on the upper Mandeo, of a single nave and rectangular apse; it is the oldest in the concello and its clearest example of medieval architecture, in a territory where burial mounds and castros, the fortified hill settlements, predominate. Aranga also preserves the Baroque parish church of San Paio, of the seventeenth century, and a chapel that guards a brass cross of the tenth century.
