Village

Ermita del Santo Cristo de Calzadilla y la leyenda del lagarto
Curiosity
Romanesque-Gothic hermitage that holds the carved figure of the Cristo de la Agonía, a work by the Italian sculptor Lucas Mitata; local tradition links this image to the legendary story of the lizard of Calzadilla. The village's name comes from an old Roman road that linked Coria with Guijo.
