What to see and do in Aliseda

Aliseda
Village
Municipality of the Tajo-Salor-Almonte comarca, known internationally for the Tartessian treasure found within its territory.
Tesoro de Aliseda
Curiosity
A hoard of 354 pieces of gold, silver, bronze, glass and precious stones, with filigree and granulated jewelry, dated to around 625 BC and linked to the changes that the Phoenician presence brought to Tartessian culture. It was discovered by chance on February 29, 1920 by the tile-makers Juan Jesús and Victoriano Rodríguez Santano and their nephew Jenaro, and transferred to the Museo Arqueológico Nacional, where it was deposited on September 26 of that same year.
