What to see and do in Majadas

Majadas
Village
Municipality of 1,281 inhabitants (2025), 51.96 km² and 264 m altitude, in the Tiétar river plain. Its name alludes to the majadas, places where livestock and shepherds gathered at night. It was established as a municipality after the fall of the Ancien Régime in 1834. The church of San Salvador (16th-17th centuries) lost much of its interior ornamentation after the Civil War.

Monument
