Bugarra's patronal festivities begin on the 15th of August in honor of the Virgen de la Asunción and San Roque, and on the 7th of October they celebrate the Virgen del Rosario and the Cristo de la Buena Muerte; during Holy Week a week of bullfighting-related events is added.
