The Blessed Inés de Benigànim

Josefa María de Santa Inés, born in Benigànim in 1625, entered the villa's convent of discalced Augustinian nuns, where she died in 1696. Beatified in 1888, her tomb is in the convent and her feast, on 21 January, gathers thousands of people.
