Surroundings of the Sierra Grossa and the Mondúver in Ròtova Nature · Ròtova, La Safor, Valencia Ròtova lies between the foothills of the Sierra Grossa and at the foot of the Mondúver massif, in a privileged natural setting in the La Safor comarca, in the south of the province of Valencia. Its relief combines an alluvial plain formed by the deposits of the Vernisa river with heights such as cerro del Agua (590 m), Alto de las Águilas (581 m) and Alto de la Fuente Blanca (557 m). Between the latter two rises the Fuente dels Llibrells, the source of the Garrofers ravine, while the Daya ravine joins the Alfahuir ravine shortly before flowing into the Vernisa. The climate is Mediterranean, and barely a kilometre from the town stands the monastery of San Jerónimo de Cotalba. Photo: Romang (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Ròtova
