The Carròs, barons of Rebollet

The Carròs lineage, admirals of the Crown of Aragon, received after the conquest of 1240 the barony of Rebollet and gave the village its name. From the castle of Rebollet they controlled the lower Serpis valley until the barony was incorporated into the ducal patrimony of Gandia.
