Cave of la Galera de Favara Nature · Favara, La Ribera Baixa, Valencia Image of Favara, not of the place itself. Archaeological site with difficult access, located in a Mediterranean mountain setting near Favara, in the Cavall Bernat range, next to the Pla de la Simeta, with material from the Bronze Age, from the 2nd-1st millennium BC, and of Iberian chronology. It is a wide-mouthed cave, with a pronounced dip running north-east to south-west and a floor covered with large blocks of stone. Fragments of flint, hand-made pottery and wheel-thrown Iberian pottery have been found there, now held in the Alzira Municipal Museum. Photo: Fotosluis (CC BY-SA 3.0 es) What to see and do in Favara
