From Arcas to Sinarcas, the story of a place name

The place figures as Arcas in the Iberian and Roman periods, came to be called Cenarcas under Andalusi rule and was fixed as Sinarcas after the Christian conquest of the second third of the thirteenth century. The district preserves remains of all those stages.
