Separation of Camporrobles from the term of Requena

The village situated at the north-western end of the plateau obtained its own jurisdiction in 1782, after centuries of dependence on Requena. The new district brought together lands of cereal, vineyard and almond on the limit with present-day Castilla-La Mancha.
