Circuito Ricardo Tormo Monument · Cheste, La Hoya de Buñol, Valencia The Circuito Ricardo Tormo is a 4.005-kilometre racetrack located in Cheste (Valencia), built in 1999 and named in honour of the two-time Valencian motorcycling world champion Ricardo Tormo (1952-1998); it has a capacity of 165,000 spectators. Since its opening it has hosted the Comunidad Valenciana Grand Prix of the Motorcycling World Championship, expected to continue until 2031, and it has also been home to the Superbike World Championship and Formula E. Its design follows the American-style circuit layout, with oval turns, and thanks to its mild winter climate many European teams use it for pre-season testing. In 2024 it hosted the FIA Motorsport Games, and that year the Grand Prix was cancelled because of the DANA storm, with a Solidarity Grand Prix held in Barcelona instead.
